WhEn It RaiNs It PoUrS!!!

Whoever came up with the phrase "When it Rains it Pours" had to know what he was talking about. I went to start my day with a lil' shopping with my Mom hoping to numb my brain from my worries and as I was driving onto Recker I noticed my car sounded and felt really weird. Not being a responsible driver I failed to check all four tires before getting into the car...I mean common' who really does that anyways? Hoping it wasn't what inevitably it ended up being I headed back for home to examine my car. I pulled back into my garage and found this on the drivers rear side. I could have cried. All I wanted to do was walk aimlessly around a store is that too much to ask?

Lucky for me my Dad is a wonderful man and came to my rescue. He brought over his compressor and quickly had my tire filled and ready to go so off we were to shop. When we left the store, shopping bags in hand and not a care in the world we came up to my car and noticed yet again the tire was flat. I was so frustrated and so my Mom called my Dad again to rescue us.
Oh my Dad the poor man didn't know what he was getting himself into. He headed to the store with a can of fix-a-flat. He asked if we were ready to drive to the dealership because I guess once you put in fix-a-flat you have to drive on it right away or it ruins your tire. We told him we were more than ready to leave so he filled it up. I jumped in the car and was ready to head off when...oh yes...THE BATTERY WAS DEAD!!! Now we did not leave a single thing on in the car it was seriously just the worst luck in the world and do I have jumper cables in my car...Of course NOT and did my Dad think to bring them...Of course Not because who would bring jumper cables to fix a flat tire? To finish this up we did finally get it all running long enough to make it to the dealership. Seriously when it rains it pours.

EnD oF DaY OnE!

End of Day One and here's what we have so far! I am determined to finish this craft since I told myself I will not start cutting out my next one until this one is done. I am not one to follow a pattern so when I saw that the pattern required me to paint on a plaid sweater I grabbed the scrapbook paper and went to town on the snowman and couldn't stop there since Santa cannot be out done by the snowman. If anyone wants to make a Christmas craft with me tomorrow call me...I'll be here. :)

Procrastinating Crafts

This is what happens when all of the sudden I get in the mood to craft, my dinner table turns into craft corner. :) I love it but I'm sure Jason get's tired of seeing the mess from day to day.

So for my 22nd birthday almost two years ago my wonderful husband bought me a jigsaw that I had been eyeing since we moved here. I was so excited after I got it that I searched the web for hours looking for the perfect craft to start off my jigsaw experience and after searching high and low I came up with the pattern below. (it's a picture of a picture so it's not the best but you get the idea)

Mind you I cut this pattern out of wood before last christmas and to show my procrastination below is a picture of what I have so far almost a year later. :) I promise I will finish it before this Christmas rolls around which means I have kicked it into high gear since Christmas is sneaking up on us. I will post a finished product when I do so you all can enjoy it with me. Hopefully it turns out ok.

Some Relief!! Finally!!

After only sleeping for 45 minutes last night I realized I just couldn't take it anymore. At 6a.m I woke Jason up and we headed for the emergency room. After several tests and 6 hours they decided I have an ulcer...NOT FUN but the drugs were amazing!! I went home with three prescriptions and I have to follow up with my primary physician next week. Thanks girls for your concern I really appreciate it. :)

Sleep Deprived

I can't believe it's 3a.m and I still have not been able to go to sleep. It has been like this for 3 days now!! I am so tired. It all started when I woke up in the middle of the night with some severe stomach pain on Tuesday. I still don't know what it is but I have narrowed the pain down to either being in my stomach, liver, or gall bladder. I personally don't care where it is as long as it goes away and fast! I honestly have slept for maybe four hours total in the last 3 days and here I am again unable to lay down because the pain is so severe. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

More Sistas!

Growing up in a family that seemed to be dominated by Men, Jenna and I were left to fend for ourselves. :) We did pretty well with our Mom on our side. But like they always say behind every great man is a WOMAN and in my family that is the case!! I am so blessed to have the most amazing Sisters!! Whether they married in or I inherited them to me they are all the same~ I don't think I could ever tell you who my favorite is because I love them all so much! I don't believe in In-Laws...so if I say she's my sister don't correct me!

Becca and Brandon make such a cute couple....I don't think any other couple was more destined to be together than these two. I mean just look at them...they're perfect! Becca is the most gentle and patient woman I have ever met and you can see that coming out in Hunter. She is an amazing mother and I look up to her so much! Oh and when you can catch her on a fiesty day is a real treat!! We try our hardest to get her to play games on those days because she is a real crack up.
Oh Nena what would I do if I didn't have you to talk to some days? Seriously Jenna is hilarious and I can't say that enough. The Bryson's run into her on occassion and always come back and tell me how her and I have the same facial expressions which I find hilarious since we don't look anything alike. :) We've become two peas in a pod. I love this girl!

The Bryson Beauties!

Jamie...I don't feel I have had enough time with Jamie. She's gorgeous which you can all tell right off the bat (I guess I should specify since they are all gorgeous!

she's the second one from the right) What I do know about Jamie is she's a rock. She is so unwavering in her testimony and I admire that. She is also so smart and being the girl that told her english teacher,"I would rather wait for the movie to come out than read this book," her intelligence really intimidates me at times.... lucky for me she is also one of the sweetest girls I know.
Chels...(Cheezy's the one calmly walking on the wall) she's amazing! I had never met someone that is happy all the time until I met Chels. When Jason and I started dating I dont know what it was but he said, "You and Chels are going to get along the best. " I dont know why he said that...maybe because we are both outgoing people? I just adore her though she is always there to help out and be the first one to greet you. She is such a geniune person and you don't find those kind of people enough in life. I'm lucky to have her as a sister.
Leslie..(Lare) One of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. She is always there to give a hug or see how everyone is doing. She is also so talented..she can sing, play the piano, dance, and she's an amazing photographer!! If anyone has a younger brother we should hook them up. She is going to make an amazing wife/mommy one day.
Brooke (Zoogs)...oh how I love this girl. Zoogs is the most blunt person I have ever met and I LOVE IT! She seriously cracks me up everytime we see her. Example....We are all sitting down to a wonderful meal Mom Bryson has prepared when Mom asks me if I would like some peas. I of course who cannot stand peas alone politley say no thank you while lovely wonderful Brooke on the other end of the table yells out,"Mom she doesnt like peas!" LOL I LOVE IT! I am sure I turned beat red because I didn't want to be rude so I just said no thanks. Brooke on the other hand wanted to make sure it never happened again. :) ha ha ha oh just thinking about it now makes me giggle. She has many other wonderful qualities though that don't include her honestly such as she is the biggest helper. If you need help with somthing she is happy to get it for you or help in any way she can. She is also so loving. She wallors all over the girls any chance she gets. I don't know what we would do without Brooke.

I LoVe Them All Just the SaMe!

So they may not be mine but I love my niece and nephews as if they were mine. After Becca had Tyler my Mom and I had the three older kiddos for a few days. It was so much fun!! We just swam and vegged in the sun all day.

Funny story about Talan.....Scott and Nicole took the two kids to Cali for a nice vacation and Scott was going to fly home early with Talan to go back to work. Well we called the airline to see what he needed in order to get Talan on the plane with him and I guess they require either a birth certificate or shot records. After some time we were able to fax the shot records to Scott in Cali. Once Scott arrived at the airport it went a little something like this....

Scott: After placing Talan on the check-in counter says, "I have some extra baggage."
Baggage Claim Man: "Wow that is deffinitely your kid."

Scott: "So you don't need the shot records?"

Baggage Claim Man: "Nope there is no doubt about it.....he's yours."

Scott: "Thanks."

So if you can't tell by just looking at him the last pic is of Scott when he was just a bit older than Talan. Seriously the two of them could have been twins. :)

"Ah they're Friends"

I know to most of you this post will make absolutly no sense and maybe it's a good thing... but to those of you fortunate enough to have a sister (Oh and have seen "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby) this will make all the sense in the World.

Jenna and I grew up completly different in every way shape and form but over the years have become one in thought and deed. I don't know what it is but we totally get eachother now. She seriously is such a crack up with some of the funniest things to say. Whether she is stuck in a boring class and we are texting back and forth the funniest movie quotes we can think of or embarrassing my Mom in every public place possible we are always laughing. So here's to you "Nena" I hope it makes you smile. :)
