We're just a little EXCITED!!

Devin will have his first official game in February and I CAN'T WAIT!!! My whole family is anticipating the baseball season with more enthusiasm than I thought possible. Since Devin doesn't check my blog I can brag knowing that his head won't grow any bigger....Baseball America ranked ASU to be #1 in the Nation this year!!
Here's his ASU Profile
"High School: A 2007 graduate of Gilbert High School in Gilbert, Arizona...was a four-time letter winner in baseball, including his senior season when he was team captain...also won three letters on the football team...three times was named All-Fiesta Region (2005-07) and earned All-State honors in 2007...went 6-3 on the mound his senior season, including a miniscule 0.93 ERA...teamed with current Devils Adam Bailey and Matt Newman on the Arizona Firebirds, winning the 2006 Connie Mack World Series.
MLB Draft: Selected in the 14th round (446th overall) by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2007 Major League Baseball draft."

Dang it they sucked me in.....

At first I was really doing a good job at avoiding everything about Stephanie Meyer and her dang vampire books!! The only problem was the more I heard it from people that I knew didn't even like reading but loved these books the more I became intrigued. What could possibly make people read some stupid books about vampires so I thought to myself why not just give it a try. Besides Jenna wouldn't leave me ALONE! She gave the first book (Twilight) to me Sunday night and I finished the second book (New Moon) yesterday! Yup you heard me right I read both books in 3 days. I stayed up Sunday night until 4:30 in the morning because I am one of those people that can not put something aside.....I have to know what is going to happen next!!! So I needless to say I love it and I am going to the movie tonight at Midnight with Jenna and Amanda. I'm already disappointed from the trailers cuz you can tell that they totally totally did not follow the book. :( Oh well what can you do. I'll let ya all know how it goes!

I Don't Think I'm Gonna Make It....

Until December that is.................. I know it is a little premature but I am counting down the days till Christmas!!! I understand the importance of Thanksgiving. It is good to stop and be grateful for everything we have but it's something about this time of year that just makes me want to bust out the red & green and go to town. It might have something to do with the fact that I have been watching Elf and listening to Christmas music since August. I can't help it my Mom is the same way. I just might start decorating for Christmas in November. Jason told me last week if I start decorating this early I might find a few missing snowmen here and there. There's a Grinch in every story, right?

Please Watch Out for Bikers.....

Since the situation is not so serious and Rick is being released from the hospital today I feel I can finally post about this. First off I want to thank all of my friends for the phone calls of support. I love each of you.

Last Tuesday Jason's Dad Rick was in a bike accident with a Truck. Rick had been biking with a group but had to leave the group early to make it to a partner's meeting. He was heading West on Thomas Road when a Truck made a left hand turn right in front of Rick causing him to t-bone the side. The right side of Ricks body took the blunt hit and was pretty torn up. He had 5 posterior ribs broken, a lacerated liver, a partially collapsed lung and several stitches needed on his face. We are so grateful that it wasn't more serious. He has healed up really well and is going home today. Thanks again for all the phone calls and prayers.

Just Call Me Mrs. Claus.....

I know some of you might be thinking I'm crazy right now but I would like to say in my defense that It'S AlL mY MoM's FaUlT!! Ever since I was a little girl Christmas has been a big deal in my family and so every year I seem to count down to Christmas earlier and earlier. I just love it that much! I started listening to Christmas music and watching the movie Elf two weeks ago!! If my husband would let me get away with it we would skip entirely over Halloween and Thanksgiving and start decorating for Christmas RiGht NoW!
And there is no better time to watch Elf and listen to Chistmas music than when I am crafting. I'm working on these today. They're not done yet but you get the idea. I love containers and since these were less than $1 per container I couldn't pass them up. I plan on putting gifts inside these and giving them away at Christmas and Birthdays. If any of you have a craft you have been dying to get done or just need some time away Jason plays volleyball on Thursday so you will find me at my craft table from 6-10!! All of you are invited just let me know if you wanna stop by.

I CaN't BeLiEvE ShE's FoUr!!!

The beginning of September is always busy for us mostly because Scott's birthday is on the 2nd Maddison's birthday is on the 5th and Nicole's birthday is on the 7th.
I can't believe she's already four!! Where did the time go? She looked so grown up at Peter Piper Pizza where we had lunch.
When Nicole asked Maddison where she wanted her party she said at the train park so that's where we had pizza and watched the kids ride all the rides. We had alot of fun and her smile is priceless!

I Love Fall Colors

We had our builder coming out this morning to fix things on our home that had been left unfunished so I decided to take the time to make this fall wreath. I have had my spring wreath up since March so it was time for a change. I love the fall and winter colors...I can't get enough of them and this cost less than $10.

A Change was Desperately Needed..

I decided it was time for a change so we went a bit darker and quite a bit shorter! What do ya think?
